Rehearsal and things

We had a rehearsal on Tuesday and wow what glorious weather it was. The thermometer was reading 30 in the shade.
Dave and Pete decided to cool off a bit in the paddling pool....




They had wanted to go on the trampoline as well but it had to be pointed out that they were a bit too big for it... Only a bit...

We did not get started till a bit later than intended but hey... who knows how long the sun will shine for.
We did go through all the tracks for the Lords Hill Kite Festival for the 21st of June and its shaping up very nicely indeed.

I just love these widgets..





We all had a listen to the tracks that the students recorded and we came to the conclusion that its not quite mixed yet. There is a bass line on there that Jerry did not play, Pete sounds as if he is in a bathroom ( or paddling pool ), my vocals have no re-verb and there have been added backing vocals at the end of the track that were not originally intended to be there. I have tried to contact them on this but so far ..no joy... With a bit of luck we will do it again and get a decent mix. ' Onwards & Upwards' eh?
